Role Description

We are seeking an Interior Designer to join Pillar Studio Inc.! In this exciting role, you’ll lead projects from concept to completion, focusing on space planning, architecture, and FF&E selection.

This position offers flexibility, allowing for a mix of remote work and on-site responsibilities within the Los Angeles Metropolitan Area.

Work alongside a passionate team to create stunning, timeless spaces that make a lasting impact.

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of experience in high-end residential design and / or boutique hospitality projects. On-site experience overseeing projects from concept to completion is essential
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or Interior Architecture
  • Strong skills in space planning, architecture, and construction drawings
  • In-depth understanding of furniture, millwork, and cabinetry construction, including detailing and the shop drawing review process
  • Experience reviewing and processing submittals and Requests for Information (RFIs) during construction phases. Attendance at construction meetings and field visits as required
  • Familiarity with building codes and regulations
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Rhino) Adobe Creative Suite, and G suite
