JOB INFORMATION :

• 2nd SHIFT : (Subject to CBA shift movement and must be flexible with shift and start and stop times during start-up period)
• TENTATIVE DATE TO THE FILL POSITION - TO BE DETERMINED
• RATE OF PAY : BASED ON CBA WAGE GUIDELINES
• APPLICANT MUST MEET ALL REQUIREMENTS OF THE JOB.

• MUST BE ABLE TO VERIFY DOCUMENTATION WITH COMPANY AND U.A.W. CHAIRMAN

Position Requirements

BASIC JOB REQUIREMENTS BUT NOT ALL INCLUSIVE :

• Troubleshoot of commercial / industrial electrical equipment installations
• Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and installation of electrical equipment.
• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics, and electrical code specifications to determine correct layout.
• Uphold all electrical equipment and related components in accordance with all applicable codes and standards including maintain accurate records.
• 4 years' experience as an Electrician or Electrical Technician in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Journeyman card highly preferred
• Experience working from blueprints, drawings, layouts, or other specifications.
• Electrical experience supporting manufacturing operations to locate and diagnose trouble in electrical systems or equipment.
• Experience in replacing broken or defective parts in equipment or machines, electrical equipment, and tooling.
• Ability to work at heights and hot / cold conditions.
• Able to work any shift.
• Able to work overtime.
