Job Summary : Join our team as a Registered Radiologic Technologist and provide safe and age-appropriate care to patients by performing various radiography exams according to department procedures.
This full-time position requires working on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 8 : 00 am to 8 : 30 pm. Must be flexible, dependable, and have the ability to independently perform technical procedures.
Key Responsibilities :
- Operate radiographic equipment safely and competently
- Obtain complete clinical history and assess for contraindicating conditions
- Provide patient education and preparatory instructions
- Ensure high quality imaging and proper patient care
- Participate in training and orientation of departmental employees
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow through with assignments
- Charging activities, equipment maintenance, and restocking of supplies
- Comply with regulatory agency standards and maintain Joint Commission requirements
Requirements :
- Graduate of an AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology
- ARRT Radiography certification
- Basic Life Support or BLS - Instructor certification
- Entry-level position, no prior experience required
