Summary : Cleans and services assigned area according to standards of cleanliness set by management to ensure a clean, comfortable, safe and attractive environment for our guests.
Follows all operating procedures, safety regulations and company policies and procedures.
Essential Functions :
- Regularly cleans items such as trash cans, windows, doors and mirrors as well as elevators
- Details rooms, shampoos carpets in the hotel rooms and hotel hallways
- Moves furniture and makes room deliveries, including linens
- Assists houseperson with special projects, hotel rooms, cleaning floors, and lighting fixtures
- Handles and disposes of biohazard materials in accordance with OSHA training provided by the company
- Scrubs and disinfects sinks, toilets, furniture and various fixtures
- Replenishes supplies in housekeeping, maintains housekeeping warehouse area and other work areas
- Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements :
Qualifications / Requirements :
- 1 to 6 months of related experience preferred
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- Must be at least 18 years of age

Physical Requirements
- Ability to work with cleaning products, chemicals and solvents using safety equipment provided by the company
- Working indoors, continuously standing and walking for a majority of the time
- Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds
- Regularly lift, bend / kneel and occasionally working outdoors
- Hearing, vision, speech and literacy (critical)
