As a Marketing Strategy Lead on the Commercial Banking Middle Market Banking and Specialized Industry (MMBSI) marketing strategy team, you will lead the execution of the content marketing strategy.
The content strategy focuses on the development, curation, and distribution of industry leading thought leadership to help engage and inform defined target audiences.
You will work directly with senior leadership to align on content types, segments, personas, distribution channels as well as the management of a content calendar and KPI reporting.
Job Responsibilities :
- Understand business goals, marketing programs and campaign to create a comprehensive content plan
- Develop and manage the MMBSI content calendar (in partnership with the MMBSI Content Editorial Board)
- Work with the Editorial and Research teams and our line of business (LOB) partners to develop content ideas / plans that map up to those key content themes
- Manage targeted distribution of content in partnership with Digital Marketing team
- Partner with marketers and stakeholders across the company to curate content that is relevant to the defined target audience;
identify opportunities for content sharing, content usage, and repurposing.
- Perform strategic mapping of content to audience journeys and ongoing journey gap analysis of the content inventory and its ability to support content strategy and campaign requirements
- Build and manage cross-functional relationships needed to link our businesses, process and technologies that contribute to strategic content planning, execution and measurement
- Partner with the LOB and other CB centers of excellence to plan development and delivery of content across an omnichannel client experience, with specific focus on digital delivery
- Develop MMBSI-specific content KPI’s that ladder up to CB-wide KPI’s and regularly measure to determine what topics, formats and channels are working or not working, proactively making recommendations and implementing changes to strategy
- Responsible for audits of content to determine gaps, expired content, needs for content updates, etc.
- Manage agencies and other content and creative partners in the development of content as needed
Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills :
- 7 years of content marketing experience
- Knowledge of financial services and relevant marketing concepts
- Demonstrated experience delivering omnichannel content, including experience in digital delivery (web, email, social,
- Proactive idea-generator and problem solver a self-starter who can quickly gauge the vision and needs and move quickly with minimal oversight
- Detail orientation, proven organizational skills and an efficient time manager
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills, including ability to deliver presentations to senior management
- Ability to envision ways to tell a story in a compelling manner for our target clients via multiple formats (print, video, infographic, multimedia presentations, social posts,

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills :
- MBA is a plus
- Experience in business-to-business marketing and financial services preferred
- Prior technology experience preferred, but not required
