You will be responsible for utilizing the nursing process to provide safe, quality healthcare to patients. Your conscientious and positive communication style will allow you to work best with a team of seasoned professionals and play a key role in patient care and interaction.
Located on the fifth floor of Building B, our Clinical Decisions Unit (CDU) is a 46-bed telemetry capable unit dedicated to the care of patients who present to the emergency room and need to be observed for 18 48 hours, where clinical decisions can be determined as to the need for inpatient admission or discharge if improvement occurs in acute illness.
The range of patient ailments are quite diverse and can include electrolyte imbalance, chest pain, transient ischemia, and infection.
Patients have multiple medical diagnose offering a variety of healthcare experiences for nurses.

Background / Expertise :
- Requires BSN or BAN or non-nursing Bachelor’s Degree with MSNORADN with an agreement to complete BSN or MSN within 3 years of hire.
- ADN with 5+ years of experience not required to get BSN.
- Current and unrestricted license to practice nursing in the state of Oregon.
- A minimum of one (1) year experience required.
- Current BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association required.
