The Rehab Nurse designs and implements treatment strategies that are based on scientific nursing theory related to self-care and that promotes physical, psychosocial and spiritual health.
Provides professional nursing care to patients within the Inpatient Rehab setting. Possess the specialized knowledge and clinical skills necessary to provide care for those with physical disability / chronic illness, and to attain and maintain maximum health and promote client's quality of life and function.
The Rehab Nurse assists clients in adapting to an altered lifestyle, while providing a therapeutic environment for patients and their family.
Assists in the development, coordination, and implementation of Plan of Care, as well as patient education. Rehab nursing is client centered, goal oriented and outcome based.
Our Nurses work independently as well as collaboratively, maintaining a positive, professional demeanor while prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
You will be constantly challenged to think creatively about how to drive patient care results, stay updated on current trends and practices, and share learnings with team and other health care colleagues.

Background / Expertise :
- Bachelor's of Nursing degree required.
- BLS required.
- Current Oregon nursing license required.
- Crisis Prevention and Intervention Training, within 6 Months of hire.
- CRRN preferred.
- Minimum of one (1) year of RN Staff Nurse experience required. Acute care RN Staff Nurse experience preferred.
