Job Title : Master Scheduler
Position Overview :
We are seeking a highly skilled Master Scheduler to play a vital role in managing and optimizing our production scheduling processes.
This position is critical in ensuring timely delivery of products while maintaining optimal inventory levels, thereby enhancing customer satisfaction and collaboration across various departments to uphold quality standards.
Key Responsibilities :
- Production Scheduling : Plan, schedule, and coordinate the production of company products effectively to meet customer demand and on-time delivery (OTD) goals.
- Demand Fulfillment : Ensure timely delivery of products while minimizing lead times to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Procurement Coordination : Collaborate with procurement teams to align production schedules with inventory levels, ensuring raw materials are available for production needs.
- Continuous Improvement : Monitor production performance and evaluate schedules to identify and implement areas for improvement, streamlining processes to enhance efficiency.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with manufacturing, supply chain, and quality assurance teams to ensure alignment and efficiency in production planning.
- Reporting : Provide regular updates on production status, potential disruptions, and any issues to upper management.
- Problem Resolution : Address production disruptions and productivity challenges promptly to maintain workflow continuity.
- Accuracy Commitment : Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all scheduling tasks.
- Supply Chain Optimization : Propose and lead initiatives aimed at optimizing the supply chain and enhancing overall operational performance.
Qualifications :
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in production scheduling or planning within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the Medical Device industry.
- Proficient in ERP / MRP systems (NetSuite preferred).
- Strong understanding of inventory management, forecasting, and reconciliation processes.
- Experience in New Product Introduction (NPI) planning and coordination.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including data extraction and high-level reporting capabilities.
- Experience in supplier coordination and contract negotiations.
- Prior Quality Assurance experience in a regulated environment (ISO13485) is a plus.
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field preferred, or equivalent work experience.
