Requirements for an HR Onboarding Specialist :
- Associate's degree in related field of study preferred.
- 3 or more years' experience in handling HR responsibilities with an emphasis in recruitment and retention.
- General knowledge of Human Resource laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Proficient computer skills including the MS Office applications.
- Experience using HRIS systems, preferably PayCor.
Responsibilities for an HR Onboarding Specialist :
- Prepare and ensure completion on all new hire onboarding data in HRIS.
- Communicate candidate status to key stakeholders such as : hiring manager, recruiters, other members of the HR team.
- Schedules pre-employment requirements within a timely manner.
- Prepare and send rejection letters through HRIS ATS.
- Complete required references on all new hires.
- Presents HR new hire orientations across the continuum in person as needed.
- Ensures 100% completion of requirements are met for all new hires.
- Ensures accurate employee data is inputted into ATS and HRIS. Collaborates with new hire candidates and is the main point of contact for completion of on-line onboarding and orientation.
- Ensures 100% compliance for all regulatory new hire requirements, including but not limited to; Prometrics, streamline verify, licensures, certifications, I-9 forms, work permits.
- Prepare and monitor new hire background checks (local and out of area).
- Primary authorized user for CHRC submissions; daily monitoring, according to DOH policies and procedures.
- Prepares Criminal Analysis Form for all required CHRC results, reviewing with VP of Human Resources for final determination.
- Prepare, distribute, and track onboarding touchpoints for new hires.
- Participates in conducting monthly and quarterly and annual HR corporate compliance audits.
