Position Summary :

Kemper is excited to be adding to our Total Loss team in our Henderson, NV office. The Total Loss Adjuster will investigate and resolve first and third party auto physical damage claims by attempting immediate contact to confirm / review coverage.

Investigate damages and maintain control of loss and of use expenses. The Total Loss Adjuster will be responsible for preparation of necessary correspondence to settle total loss claims with insureds, claimants, and their legal representatives and will issue indemnity and expense payments with key initiative on accuracy of settlements.

This includes reviewing all options, conditioning and prior to confirm we have accurate actual cash value.

Position Qualifications :

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• College Degree preferred.
• Six months of property and casualty handling experience which includes investigation, total loss and negotiation of claims.
• Claim handling experience, including making coverage decisions, customer contact, and rental managements experience is preferred.
• Interpersonal skills must be adequate to effectively coordinate a prompt, fair, and equitable resolution of all assigned claims.
• The ability to work in a fast pace, high call volume environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred but not required.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• This is a hybrid position reporting to the Henderson, NV office.

The range for this position is $18.56 to $31.01 hourly. When determining candidate offers, we consider experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location among other factors.
