Position : Litigation Partner
We are a reputable law firm seeking a highly skilled andexperienced litigation attorney to join our team as a partner. Thisis a senior level position and we are specifically looking forcandidates with 710 years of litigation experience.
As a partneryou will play a crucial role in our firms continued success andgrowth.
Responsibilities :
Manage a caseload of litigation matters including general civillitigation and real estate related litigation
Conduct legal research and draft pleadings motions and other legaldocuments
Communicate with clients opposingcounsel and the court
Prepare for and attendpretrial and trial proceedings
Mentor andsupervise junior associates and support staff
Participate in business development and marketing efforts toattract new clients and maintain relationships with existingclients
Requirements :
JurisDoctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
Active license to practice law in the state
710 years of experience in litigation preferably with afocus on general civil litigation and real estate relatedlitigation
Strong communication andinterpersonal skills
Ability to manage a highvolume caseload and meet deadlines
Proven trackrecord of success in pretrial and trial proceedings
Selfstarter with a strong work ethic and the ability towork independently
Business development andmarketing experience is a plus
