Description & Requirements Effectively executes against the established test approach through the creation, review, execution of performance test cases as well as the discovery of code, configuration, infrastructure related performance flaws / defects with an objective to ensure quality for the software quality product.

Performs quality assessment on performance to both technical and business stakeholder. Essential Duties and Responsibilities : - Create and prepare test scenarios and test cases.

  • Prepare test data needed to execute test cases. - Prepare test environment and provisioning requirements to execute the test cases.
  • Execute test cases and analyze results in order to identify potential defects. - Assess impact and escalate risks / issues to appropriate teams / resources to ensure timely resolution.
  • Perform Back testing, including interfaces, database, webservice. - Collaborate with System Integration Test team regarding test scenario development and defect identification.
  • Ensure fixes to defects found are retested comprehensively. - Contribute / Maintain the test script library by reviewing existing scripts and develop new test cases and participate in preparation of test plans.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by management. Project Specific Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following : - Participation in the creation of formal Performance Test Strategies / Approach - Authoring of quality Performance Scripts within the designated timeline - Determine best in class process to create data & virtual user load to meet test criteria - Ability to perform script execution within the designated velocity and timeline - Define problems, collect data, draw valid conclusions, and drive mitigating actions - Be a prominent contributor within the defect triage / mitigation process of performance issues - Autonomous testing lifecycle knowledge which includes the development of approach, impact assessment, defect management, reporting results, assessing performance against SLAs.
  • Ability to mitigate problems with both business and technical orientated staff - Partner with Infrastructure personnel to establish performance SLAs - Work with technical based teams to measure I / O, Database, Servers, Environment performance - Analysis and discovery of performance issues - Establish and maintain performance standards - Assess performance stability, consult on next steps with both technical and business teams - Guardian of the overall performance process to ensure that quality results are accurately captured Minimum Requirements - Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of experience.

  • General application of concepts and principles. - Contributes to the completion of organizational projects and goals. - Frequent use and general knowledge of industry practices, techniques, and standards.

Project Specific Requirements : - Excellent verbal and communication skills (ability to present the facts) - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent degree with work experience - Three - Five years' experience as a Performance Test Engineer - Testing knowledge on Database, Query, API, Java knowledge a plus, Power Builder,.

Net - Knowledge of JIRA, Test Management Tools, Katalon, Selenium, Cucumber, Gherkin - Fundamental knowledge of SDLC methodologies (Kanban, Scrum, Iterative Development) - Fundamental knowledge of Test-Driven Development and / or Behavioral Driven Development - Fundamental knowledge of healthcare, insurance, or financial services is a plus - As per client specifications, applicants must be U.

Annual salary is just one component of Maximus's total compensation package. Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards.

Compensation ranges may differ based on contract value but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.

Annual Base Pay Minimum for this Position $ 85,000.00 Annual Base Pay Maximum for this Position $ 100,000.00 *
