- Safely operate a forklift to transport materials and products throughout the warehouse or production facility.
- Load and unload materials from trucks, pallets, racks, and shelves using the forklift.
- Ensure proper stacking and securement of materials to prevent damage or accidents.
- Perform daily inspections of the forklift and report any maintenance or operational issues to the supervisor.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse by arranging materials and products in designated areas.
- Assist with inventory control by accurately counting and recording materials and products.
- Collaborate with warehouse team members and supervisors to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and instructions from supervisors to ensure efficient workflow.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting process improvements and efficiency gains.
