Job Description : Active Directory Administrator
Looking for a skilled Active Directory Administrator to support, implement, and design Microsoft Active Directory and Windows-based systems within a multi-domain enterprise environment.
This role also involves managing directory and future identity management solutions. As an Email Administrator, the candidate will oversee and manage enterprise email systems and other applications during deployment.
Responsibilities include setting up, configuring, and maintaining the email infrastructure.
The ideal candidate should possess excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to diagnose issues, recommend, and implement solutions.
They should be self-motivated and capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team.
Key Responsibilities :
- Install and configure Active Directory domain controllers and AD servers based on customer standards.
- Deploy Microsoft security hotfixes and upgrade the Active Directory environment following the change management process.
- Manage system properties, policies, and services at the top-level domain while delegating control at lower-level domains.
- Handle schema updates, FSMO roles, and administer Group Policy Objects (GPOs).
- Add, remove, and configure AD sites, site links, and subnets, and install and configure DHCP servers.
- Troubleshoot and resolve Directory Replication service issues and configure / manage AD DNS services.
- Create and manage Trust relationships and handle AD disaster recovery.
- Ensure the overall security of the Active Directory domain and conduct root cause analysis.
- Manage Azure Active Directory and automate processes using PowerShell scripting.
- Oversee projects and support for all email technologies, including G-Suite, Office 365, and Microsoft Exchange.
- Develop, test, and implement solutions for identified issues, and recommend improvements.
- Monitor system alerts, performance, and utilization, generating reports as needed.
- Respond promptly to incidents and requests via a ticketing system, ensuring timely resolutions in a dynamic business environment.
- Act as a technical contact for testing, planning, and rolling out new features and updates.
Requirements :
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in building and maintaining Microsoft Active Directory domains and email infrastructure.
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Preferred experience with managing Enterprise SaaS solutions.
- Preferred experience with Microsoft Exchange and G-Suite
