Concept Overview : High End Multi Concept Market Place (Name to be announced at another time), think a smaller version of Eataly or LA’s Grand Central Market with several smaller (average 500-700sq ft) concepts all controlled by Myseltf / Kilgore Culinary.
The evening concept (1500sq ft) is to draw people to the location at night. This concept will be a potential Michelin concept and we are looking to pair with a local high en mixologist or cocktail boar.
The location is the Trans America Pyramid Plaza, SHVO is revitalizing the entire block that they own. Daniel Boulud who is also partners with multiple SHVO properties will be opening at least one concept directly across (20ft, from our marketplace).
The marketplace will be the first concept partnership with Kilgore Culinary in SF with the potential for more and growth.
We believe in promoting from within so we are hopeful to find a strong Chef operator to grow with us.
Position Description : The GM will report directly to the owner Brad Kilgore and the Corporate F&B Director, all other Market Place team members and managers report directly to the GM.
The GM will be expected to ensure the profitability of the project and making sure that all the general costs of the operations are within industry standards.
The GM lead weekly status update meetings with the ownership group either in person or virtually as well as schedule and hold weekly meetings with the managers and leaders of the operations.
Each meeting will be prepared and organized with a standardized meeting sheet agenda and minutes will be recorded each week based on each line item of the agenda in order to be reported to ownership and to ensure follow up and execution on each weeks tasks.
The GM will oversee all third party vendors and consultants and hold meetings whilst reporting to ownership as necessary, including but not limited to;
accounting, human resources, payroll, entertainment, music, repair contractors, etc. The GM will be supported with an Assistant Manager as well as an administrative that will work for all areas of the operation.
Sales Volume : $5-10M
Number of Seats : 150+
Check Average : Breakfast $15-$30, Lunch $30-$50, Dinner $90-$120
Base Salary Range : Based on Experience
Potential Signing Bonus : $5000 after 120 days
Relocation Policy : $5,000 after 120 days
Profit Share / Bonus : Potential to discuss a profit share and or bonus structure once a proven track record of consistent profitability is shown within the first 9-12 months of opening.
PTO : Two Weeks Paid Vacation, does not roll over, can be paid out at the end of their year
