Purpose :

Do you have a strong technical capability with a background in Manufacturing? Are you highly organized, but also adept developing creative solutions to complex problems with a "hands-on approach" to problem solving?

We are seeking a confident leader and mentor focused on developing our hourly quality team to join our Technical Group! A dynamic problem solver who can, using their skills in Metrology and Manufacturing, improve our measurement methodology to build effective ways of sustaining our various quality plans, while seeking to improve knowledge of our products and our customer’s needs (both end-use consumers, as well as the multiple customers in our supply chain).

This is an opportunity to join our team in a full-time position that is anticipated to last 12 to 24 months and includes standard benefits.

Responsibilities :

  • Simplify various measurement methods, sampling plans, and inspection criteria, as well as develop tools to sustain various changes implemented.
  • Responsible for direct supervision of Quality Auditors / Lab Personnel across multiple shifts.
  • Design functional employee training program and ensure access to resources in order to meet Product Quality Standards.
  • Development and implementation of process control plans across our diverse range of assembly and injection-molding equipment.
  • Maintenance / Management of lab equipment (CMMs, Optical Instrumentation, Micrometers, Calipers, Force Testers, etc.).
  • Ability to lead multi-functional teams in identifying and mitigating risk using various quality tools (pFMEA, PPAP, APQP, Control Plans, etc.)
  • Assist in corrective and preventive action investigations, using Delta Faucet Company sponsored problem-solving tools.

Education & Experience :

  • 2-3 years of Quality Engineering experience required.
  • Must have proficiency in various Microsoft Office applications
  • Prior experience using some sort of SPC software, i.e. Minitab.
  • Proven track record making decisions with a bias towards action, even when limited data is available, in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
