Back A Yard Caribbean Grill in San Jose, CA is looking for one cashier to join our team. We are located on 457 E San Carlos St, San Jose, CA 95112.
Our ideal candidate is self-driven, motivated, and engaged.
Responsibilities
- Provide an exceptional dining experience to every customer, every time
- Prepare bills for food and accept payment or make change.
- Balance receipts and payments in cash registers.
- Pleasantly deal with customers to ensure satisfaction
- Handle cash / card transaction
- Make sales referrals and introduce the new items on the menu
- Run foods and drinks to guests’ tables
- Take customers’ orders over the telephone
- Fill-in for fellow employees, where needed, to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations.
Qualifications
- Proven working experience as a cashier or in customer service
- Basic mathematical skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to listen and communicate effectively
