The School District of Onalaska is accepting applications for a part-time regular education paraprofessional at Onalaska High School School.
This is a four hour per day position and hours are in the morning based on student schedules.
Paraprofessionals in the School District of Onalaska are classified as one encompassing unit of employees and are an integral part of the school system's programs.
Paraprofessionals are assigned by the building administrator to many assignments which may be different in each of the district schools;
for example, paraprofessionals serve in the instructional areas, classrooms, special education programs, offices, library and media centers, computer labs, lunchrooms and play areas.
No nights or weekends, school day only, and summer school work is available if interested.
Qualifications : A minimum of two years (48 credits) post high school education, or an associate degree preferred. If two years post high school is not achieved, applicants must have passed ParaPro Assessment or designated WorkKeys Assessments prior to employment.
The WorkKeys Assessment is paid for by the district if selected for employment.
Wage : $ 19.61
Start Date : August 23, 2024
