2nd Shift Lead Welder

Our client produces high-quality, safe vehicle lifts, and they want you to join their team as a Lead Welder!
Your day-to-day as a Lead Welder :
- Perform pre-heat, weld fit-up, weld preparation, weld inspection, and weld finishing activities
- Act as the night shift contact for management and resolve coworker issues
- Report safety incidents, quality concerns, material shortages, and schedule deviations
- Perform various welding tasks using Gas Metal Arc Welding and Flux Cored Arc Welding
- Maintain a clean, organized work area and participate in team activities
Your skills and experience :
- High school diploma or GED with 3+ years of welding experience
- Proficiency in Gas Metal Arc Welding and Flux Cored Arc Welding processes
- Ability to set and adjust weld settings based on material types and desired outcomes
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills and basic shop math knowledge
- Able to work independently, communicate effectively, and handle multiple projects
