Responsibilities
Perform basic patient monitoring activities under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Remain at bedside of assigned patient at all times unless relieved by an appropriate staff member.
- Assist in calming and / or reorienting patient in cases of agitation or confusion.
- Remove visible hazards and / or broken equipment from immediate environment and reports as appropriate.
- Record all observations.
Requirements
Licensure / Certification / Registration :
- BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Certification specializing in Crisis Prevention preferred.
Education :
- High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
- Note : Required professional licensure / certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
Additional Preferences
- Must be willing and able to "float" to our sister facilities located in Broken Arrow, Owasso and Sapulpa
- PRN Patient Attendants must be able to work 108 hours per 6 week period (9 shifts)
- Once hired, you must be able to attend our mandatory 1 week onboarding class. This class will be Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm.
