Job Overview :
This position responsibility will include monitoring and caring for patients in Diagnostic Cardiology hallway while waiting for testing, transporting patients when needed, monitoring hallway camera, assisting with patient registration and check- in for Diagnostic Cardiology and O / P lab.
Qualifications : Required :
Required :
- High School Diploma
- BLS Certification through American Heart Association only.
Preferred :
At least one (1) year experience as a phlebotomist or EKG Technician with health care background. Current enrollment in health care training program as C.N.A. or PCT preferred
Certifications and Licenses :
BLS certification through American Heart Association
Scheduling Requirements :
- Days
- Schedule during the week will vary depending on department needs
- Full-Time (37.5 hrs)
- Mandatory Orientation
Essential Functions :
- Transports patients when needed
- Monitors hallway camera
- Assists with patient registration for check-in
- Address legitimate safety and patient satisfaction concerns as well as making the department more efficient
