Job Description :

A Data Collection Driver for WeDriveU drives a Non-Commercial Vehicle, following scheduled, pre-determined routes to collect data for a specialized client throughout the United States.

Duties and Responsibilities :

• Attendance, as well as meeting qualitative and quantitative performance standards
• Reliability and punctual .
• Compliance with all traffic laws, and federal and state transit regulations .
• Ability to safely operate and drive a vehicle without a break for a minimum period of 3 hours.
• Ability to adhere to the assigned route and work up to 12 hours a day.
• Ability to interact cordially with client as well as the public .
• Excellent communication skills with dispatcher / managers regarding maintenance / service needs, road concerns, accidents, and other traffic disruptions by text, email, or phone .
• Full range of peripheral vision .
• Completion of end of day report, and an hourly breakdown .
• Flexibility and ability to follow directions and adapt to different makes / models of vehicles and different routes depending on operational needs.

Skills Required and Physical Demands :

• Ability to perform a basic manual inspection of the vehicle / rig prior to the route, including checking vehicle tires, lights, and oil.
• Basic computer skills .
• Excellent customer service skills .
• Ability to lift-up to 25 pounds and climb a 3-step ladder.
• Strong work ethic .
• Excellent Map reading skills.

Education and Qualifications :

• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening.
• Highschool diploma preferred.
