Metric Geo are seeking a dynamic Senior Structural Engineer in Tennessee on a fully remote basis .
Key Responsibilities :
- Leadership : Drive structural design and engineering initiatives across Tennessee, ensuring the successful delivery of complex projects.
- Business Development : Play a key role in securing new clients and projects, collaborating on proposals, and contributing to marketing strategies.
- Expertise : Provide senior-level structural expertise on all project aspects, from conceptual design to construction administration, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
- Project Management : Serve as the Project / Program Manager for various structure-related projects, overseeing contractual obligations, staff, and sub-consultants.
- Technical Excellence : Produce detailed construction documents, specifications, and cost estimates while executing rigorous QA / QC for design accuracy.
- Mentorship : Lead, mentor, and develop junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative team environment.
What You Bring :
- Education : Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master's preferred).
- Experience : 12+ years of bridge design experience with a strong background in state and municipal projects.
- Licensure : Professional Engineer (P.E.) in Tennessee or the ability to obtain it within 6 months.
- Communication : Exceptional communication skills, particularly in proposal development and client interaction.
- Preferred : Experience with Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) and local municipalities.
