Job Summary
Laboratory / research technician for the Yang Lab in the Borch Department of Medicinal Chemistry and Molecular Pharmacology to perform routine laboratory and technical functions.

What You Will Be Doing
Perform animal husbandry involving mouse handling, breeding, weaning, setting up experimental cages and performing genotyping.
Maintain records of all animals.
Perform basic cell culture such as medium changes and preparing medium and small molecule aliquots for use.
Help keeping the laboratory organized, including the protocol and inventory maintenance
Ordering reagents, cell culture medium for the lab use and maintaining a record of the expenditure.
Keeping contacts and good relations with the company representatives.
What We Are Looking For
Associate degree in laboratory technician and
One (1) year of experience required,
The candidate should be skilled at using Microsoft excel, have basic laboratory knowledge.
Performing any laboratory techniques and / or animal handling experience is a plus.
What We Desire
Bachelor of science degree in biology, neuroscience, chemistry, biochemistry, bioengineering, pharmacy preferred.
