We are looking for a FULL TIME MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN in our AMHERST, VA plant.

Responsibilities and Duties :
The successful candidate will be responsible for repairing, troubleshooting and performing preventative maintenance tasks on various machinery and buildings used in C&B Piping's production process.
Qualifications and Skills :
- Eight (8) years of prior industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment. Foundries, steel mills, machine shops would be a huge plus.
- Ability to read electrical blueprints, troubleshoot and repair electrical issues including wiring motors, changing out disconnects, replacing fuses, splicing and repairing broken, etc.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair forklifts, mechanical machinery and equipment.
- Ability to work outside or in indoor spaces not climate controlled.
- Experience working with large lathes, threaders, and other metal fabrication equipment is a STRONG plus.
- Ability to work both independently when necessary or as part of a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various weather conditions.
Must have a solid work history that shows commitment to employers and an ability to stay in jobs for multiple years.
