- Reporting to the Radiology Department Manager, this position Provides health care services, applying sonic energy to assist in diagnosis or treatment;
- performs ultrasonic imaging and related procedures in the following area : OB / GYN, abdomen, and / or ophthalmology and demonstrates anatomy for interpretation and / or intervention by, or at the request of a licensed practitioner;
exercises professional judgment in performance of services and applies appropriate patient care and recognizes patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure.
- Certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography in OB / GYN, Abdominal, and / or Vascular required.
- Current BLS certification required.
- Current MAB test required within 6 months of hire if assigned to work in the Emergency Department.
- Experience in Vascular Lab preferred
