Provide Process Control Support to the DCS systems at petrochemical plant in the Houston area. This site has 3 main operating units, 2 that run DeltaV and 1 that runs Foxboro.
The third unit will be migrating to DeltaV. They may also add APC at the site after all units are running DeltaV. This role is the main Engineer working on the DCS so you will have ownership of the process control program.
There is support available from other people at the site and this site has excellent teamwork and the engineers cover well for one another.
The Engineering Manager over this role places a big emphasis on empowering and developing his people. This site has a good safety and environmental record.
This site could grow so this could be a ground floor type of opportunity. In addition to maintaining and expanding the DeltaV you will build the long-term strategy for the DCS function at the site.
The site offers a 4 / 10 or 9 / 80 work schedule.
Qualifications :
Requires a BS in EE or CHE
Must have experience with DCS systems in an operating environment
Must have chemical plant or refining experience in an operating plant environment
