Job Description :
Hyman's Seafood is seeking a dedicated and skilled cook to join our kitchen team. We are looking for someone who can work in a fast-paced environment, has a passion for preparing high-quality seafood dishes, and takes pride in their work.
The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of kitchen operations and be able to maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace.
Responsibilities :
- Prepare and cook menu items according to Hyman's Seafood standards and recipes.
- Ensure that all food is consistently prepared and served according to quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Assist with food prep and setup for service, ensuring readiness for high-volume shifts.
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations.
- Restock kitchen supplies and ingredients as needed.
- Follow proper food handling procedures and maintain a safe work environment.
Requirements :
- Previous cooking experience in a high-volume restaurant is preferred.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
- Knowledge of kitchen safety and sanitation standards.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Must have open availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
