The AI-Enabled IT Administrator is responsible for the management and maintenance of our organization's IT infrastructure, in Carol Stream IL, ensuring its reliability, security, and optimal performance.

The incumbent will work in collaboration with our global IT team based in France. As the IT infrastructure is not a full time position, the person will play will also play a key role in leveraging AI technologies to enhance and optimize our process in all company departments (Accounting, Marketing, Sales, Engineering, etc.

This position requires a deep understanding of traditional IT systems as well as expertise in implementing AI solutions to improve efficiency, automation, and decision-making processes.

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the organization's IT infrastructure.
• Manage and maintain servers, network equipment, and other hardware components.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure smooth operations.
• Provide technical support to end-users, addressing hardware and software-related issues.
• Set up and configure workstations, laptops, and other devices for new employees.
• Identify opportunities to integrate AI technologies into existing IT systems and workflows.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand user needs and tailor AI solutions accordingly.
• Design and implement AI-driven solutions to automate repetitive tasks in all department and enhance overall company performance.
• Utilize AI tools for data analysis to extract valuable insights from company data (all departments)
• Develop and implement scripts and automation processes using AI techniques for the company operation.
• Provide training and guidance to staff on the use of AI-assisted programs.
• Strong knowledge of traditional IT systems, networks, and infrastructure.
• Familiarity with AI-Tools
• Understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Effective communication skills to interact with end-users and team members.
• Entrepreneurial mindset to find the best AI improvement opportunity in the company and lead the project from creation to full implementation
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• At least 5 years proven experience as an IT Administrator with a focus on AI integration.
• Experience with AI frameworks, machine learning algorithms, and data analysis tools.

Work is performed largely in an office or climate-controlled warehouse environment. Hours of work are generally during regular business.

There will be some variation in work hours due to employee shift schedules, special projects, deadlines, customer needs and various other business concerns.

Out of town and overnight travel, both local and international, may be required for business and education, by air and / or auto.

Must be able to lift and carry up to 35 pounds, as well as the ability to bend, kneel, walk or sit for extended periods of time.

The ability to reach above head and below knees is also required.
