Valley Medical Group is looking for a Phlebotomist to join our Laboratory team and work in our Easthampton Health Center.

Position : Phlebotomist
Location : Covering all 4 health centers (Amherst, Easthampton, Greenfield, Northampton)
Hours : Per diem, typical hours Monday-Friday generally between 6 : 00am-5 : 00pm, and Saturday mornings. Hours may vary depending on department needs.
Exact schedule to be discussed at time of interview.
As a Phlebotomist, the candidate must have the ability to collect blood from patients of all ages through venipuncture. A successful candidate will have excellent attention to detail, good customer service skills, and be proficient in computers, data entry, and the operation of equipment.
Job Responsibilities :
- Collecting samples from patients of all ages
- Processing and accessions of clinical specimens
- Checking patients in and out, scheduling appointments, answering phones, greeting patients
Required Qualifications :
- Graduate from a Phlebotomy Program or Medical Assistant Program
- Previous customer service or medical office experience
Additional Preferred Qualifications :
- CPT preferred, but not required
- EMR experience preferred, Athena experience a plus
