As our Executive Chef, you know the impact that a beautifully plated meal made from fresh, local ingredients has on a dining experience.

You also know, from experience, what it takes to operate a successful kitchen. Our mission is to enrich people’s lives, and this position will give you the chance to enrich the lives of people every day.

  • In this role, you will have responsibilities such as educating residents and team members about healthy food options; overseeing labor and food costs;
  • building a team dedicated to great food and relationships; developing personal relationships with a community of wonderful people;

and ensuring that each member of your team understands all aspects of cooking, food preparation, and presentation.

The ideal candidate will :

  • Have a commitment to Touchmark’s values (excellence, teamwork, hospitality, integrity, and compassion), as well as a desire to model these values and to encourage others to be allies, friends and givers
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Have a certificate or degree in culinary arts or a related field
  • Have at least three years’ experience as a food services director, kitchen manager, or chef with leadership responsibilities in a similar environment, with demonstrated success in running a profitable kitchen and managing a team of kitchen staff
  • Possess a valid food handler’s card, and be willing to obtain First Aid / CPR certification
  • Be willing to work weekends and holidays as needed
  • Be able to lift and / or carry up to 30 pounds and stay on your feet for long periods of time
  • Maintain a positive and professional attitude when dealing with residents, family members, visitors, and team members
