Who We Are :

HII-Mission Technologies is currently seeking a Senior Software Engineer to support our Air Force customer and the B-52 program.

This position can be remote with some travel.

HII-Mission Technologies provides mission-critical engineering and technical service to Information Technology, Federal Civilian, and National Security, Aerospace & Defense and International government and commercial customers at over 100 locations worldwide.

What You Will Do :

The Senior Software Engineer for DoD aircraft modification programs should have experience with designing, developing, and testing software systems for the aircraft.

The Software Engineer will :

• Conduct assessments and reports on existing B-52 GPS-M Software requirements for lifecycle systems integration of the R-EGI navigation system.
• Develop and review technical documentation, including system requirements, design documents, and test plans.
• Coordinate with other engineers and stakeholders to identify and resolve technical issues.

What We're Looking For :

9 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 7 years relevant experience with Masters in related field;

4 years relevant experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 13 years relevant experience.

• Experience with software development and associated systems integration, system T&E, and risk management
• Active DoD Secret Clearance

Preferred Requirements

• 10 + years of experience with software development and associated systems integration, system T&E, and risk management.
• Aerospace / aircraft PNT, GPS, and / or Comm / Nav systems similar knowledge experience is desired.

Physical Requirements

Adequate visual acuity and manual dexterity for meeting the requirements Software Engineer family.
