Description :
This position will be welding and fabricating custom designs under the direction of the department supervisor. Will be interacting with other supporting department staff and management along with plant management and the sales team.
This is a union position with the Steelworkers local. Work schedule is Mon - Thurs, 6am - 4;30 pm; overtime on Fridays.
Requirements :
- Must be fluent in TIG welding Aluminum.
- Must be fluent in MIG welding Aluminum.
- Must be proficient in CNC Folder operation.
- Must be proficient in CNC punching operation.
- Must have experience with grinding welds to a condition that will allow a paint, poweder or anodize finish.
- Must be mechanically inclined.
- Must be able to use common measuring tools to include, tape measures and squares.
- Must have the ability to interpret Shop Drawings.
- Must have be able to pass timed math test.
- Must be able to use power tools and hand tools.
- Must be able to read and understand Shop Orders and Shop Releases.
- Must have good attendance record.
- Must be able to follow instructions.
- Must be able to work safely and understand of all safety requirements pertaining to equipment.
- Must be able to work overtime on short notice including Friday and Saturday as necessary.
- Must be able to produce product to quality standards.
