Social Video Editor & Photo Content Creator (Part-time)

We’re looking to hire a creative and motivated Social Media Video & Photo Content Creator for a client in the travel industry.
In this role, you will primarily collaborate with the social team to create and edit social-first content across channels, including TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube, while supporting additional creative needs as appropriate.
This is a remote, part-time project opportunity through the end of 2024 with the potential to extend.

Responsibilities :
- Collaborate closely with the social team and Creative Director to develop and produce up to 10 monthly social media videos for platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube, with potential for Facebook, Pinterest, and X.
- Adapt relevant archival footage creatively to support the social media calendar.
- Lead the production and execution of social videos, ensuring a cohesive and seamless brand look and feel.
- Manage work back calendars and production needs to meet deadlines with the social media team.
- Assist the Creative team on diverse video editing projects, demonstrating flexibility and readiness to assist across video and photo production tasks as needed.
Requirements :
- 3+ years of video editing experience, with a focus on native social formats (e.g., TikTok, Reels).
- Experience capturing social-first videos and photos, specifically short-form video content (30-90 seconds).
- Experience creating social media content for a brand, either at an agency or directly with a brand.
- Ability to script, storyboard, and contribute during creative development.
- Proficiency in editing and design software such as Adobe Suite (Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator), Canva, and in-app editing tools.
- Strong understanding of typography, layout, color theory, and other design principles.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate creative concepts and strategic thinking to cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently as well as under close direction.
- Consistent attention to detail, including project structure and asset organization.
- A genuine love for and excitement about social (cringe and all) and travel.
