The Role

The role of Senior Data Scientist, Enabling Functions (HR, Finance, and Legal) represents a unique opportunity for an individual with a robust quantitative background to leverage their data science expertise in enhancing the operational efficiency and strategic decision-making within Human Resources, Finance, and Legal departments.

This position is tailor-made for someone eager to apply advanced analytics to streamline processes, inform policy development, and optimize organizational performance.

This role is in Princeton, NJ and is hybrid, requiring living within commuting distance to our Princeton, NJ office.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Analytics : The individual will be pivotal in consulting across the analytics lifecycle for enabling functions, encompassing data collection, development of key performance indicators (KPIs), predictive modeling, and analytics tailored to HR, Finance, and Legal needs.
• Innovation and Collaboration : A critical component of this role involves identifying opportunities for leveraging data science to bring about innovation within the enabling functions.
• Execution and Leadership : The role entails utilizing advanced data manipulation and analysis techniques to provide actionable insights and recommendations.

Requirements

• Educational and Professional Experience : This position requires a PhD in a quantitative discipline with at least two years of experience in a similar role, or a Master's degree with five years of experience.
• Technical Proficiency : Expertise in data analysis tools such as Python, R, and SQL is essential, alongside familiarity with cloud services.
• Communication and Teamwork : Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are a must, as is the ability to effectively present ideas and work collaboratively across different departments.
• Innovative Problem-Solving : The ability to devise innovative solutions to complex, multifaceted problems is critical.

Compensation

For US-based candidates, the proposed salary band for this position is as follows : $95,625.00 $159,375.00. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
