As a Marketing Team Member, you'll be at the forefront of our efforts to connect with local businesses and potential customers, driving traffic to our stores, and creating unforgettable experiences.

We are seeking outgoing, reliable, and well-organized team-players with exceptional people skills who live and breathe the Beaches vibe! As a Marketing Team Member, you'll be the face of Beaches Tanning Center-whether you're engaging with the local community by speaking with store owners about potential partnerships, educating visitors at pop-up booths, distributing coupons, or seizing organic opportunities to share the Beaches experience.

You'll know that you never get a second chance to make a great first impression, and you'll use that understanding to represent our brand with energy and enthusiasm.

In addition to hourly base pay and access to Corporate-Level Tanning, Marketing Team Members will have opportunities to earn monthly bonus incentives.

To receive this bonus, there will be pre-determined goals established by the Marketing Manager. We need team-players who are personable, responsible, and results-driven, with a shared focus on bringing more traffic into our stores.

KEY RESPONSIBLITIES :

Be the Face of the Brand : Represent Beaches Tanning Center within the community, whether at local events, pop-ups, B2B efforts, ensuring a positive and memorable experience for everyone you engage with.

You'll understand that you never get a second chance to make a great first impression, and you'll use that understanding to represent our brand with energy and enthusiasm.Drive Traffic :

Your top priority will be to support the Marketing Team's overall efforts to drive customers (traffic) into our physical store locations and use this understanding to guide everything you do in this role.

Some actual driving will be necessary to visit target locations / audiences when supporting traffic-driving efforts, such as networking with local businesses, distributing coupons, working booths at local events, and more.Promotional Efforts :

Distribute coupons to our target audience for free and discounted tanning services, encouraging visits to our physical stores by potential customers / guests.

Hand out and keep track of all coupons, vouchers, and other promotional materials as delegated by the Marketing Manager.Educate :

Share information about Beaches Tanning Center's services, promotions, and special offers with enthusiasm and professionalism.

To educate others, you must be educated; attend all weekly / monthly meetings and / or trainings (in-store and via zoom) to stay up to date on all things Beaches!Engage with Local Businesses :

Speak with store owners and managers about potential partnerships, promoting Beaches Tanning Center as a valuable local brand.

Maintain accurate records of B2B leads, contacts, trades, follow-ups, and report findings / updates to Marketing ManagerCapitalize on Organic Opportunities :

Seize spontaneous opportunities to engage with the community and promote the Beaches brand in unexpected ways.Collaborate with the Marketing Team :

Attend weekly team meetings; provide insights from your interactions with customers, businesses, etc. and suggest ideas for B2B outreach, future promotions, local events, and more.

Attend monthly company-wide meetings and / or trainings to stay up to date on all things BeachesGENERAL SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES :

A passion for marketing and advertising with a genuine enthusiasm for actively participating in marketing initiatives.Physical Demands : Must be able to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods, enduring all elements of weather.

Must be able to lift at least 30lbs.Ability to attend monthly events and actively participate in marketing initiatives.REQUIREMENTS :

High school diploma / GED required.Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related field preferred (or current enrollment in such a program also considered), but not requiredValid Driver's license and a clean driving recordMust be 18+ years of age1+ years of experience in events, marketing, or sales related field preferred1+ years of experience in tanning, beauty, fitness, retail, fashion, or other related fields preferred.
