Security Guard Unarmed Government Patrol Full-Time

As a Security Guard Unarmed Government Patrol Full-Time in Santa Ana, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within a government location, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, managing access control, and providing outstanding customer service to all visitors and staff. Pay Rate : $21.00 / Hour

Job Schedule :

DayTimeMon 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 30 PM

Tue 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 30 PM

Wed 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 30 PM

Thur 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 30 PM

Sun 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 30 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents to the appropriate authorities and Allied Universal management.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as required by site policies.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and any security-related concerns encountered during patrols.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency personnel as needed during incidents or emergencies at the location.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
  • Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
