Process Improvement Specialist (Clinical)

Applicants must reside and be licensed in Louisiana with familiarity with Ambetter and a deep understanding of Case Management.

Position Purpose : Plan, develop and track process improvement and operational projects related to clinical outcomes for products and ensure integration with delivery systems including service / care coordinationServe as the primary subject matter expert for clinical health outcomesReview of all clinical member materials, including service coordination brochures, handbook references, and educational leafletsServe as a liaison for all clinical initiatives including, case and disease management, behavioral health and HEDIS outcome measuresEvaluate the analysis and responses on all quality measures including, performance development and reporting, and provide recommendationsReview member survey results from internal as well as external sources for implications to operations and make recommendations for process improvements accordinglyCollaborate with analytics team on identified process improvement reporting and schedulingPerforms other duties as assignedComplies with all policies and standardsEducation / Experience : Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare, related field, or equivalent experience.

5+ years of process improvement experience, preferably in a managed care environment. Experience in project coordination preferred.

License / Certificates : Current state’s RN, or LCSW. Drivers license preferred.For LA Plan only : License / Certificates : Current state’s RN, or LCSW, Medical or Licensed Psychologists, Licensed Professional Counselors (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFT), Licensed Addiction Counselors (LAC) or Advanced Practice Registered Nurses (must be a nurse practitioner specialist in Adult Psychiatric & mental Health, Family Psychiatric & Mental health, or a Certified Nurse Specialist in Psychosocial, Gerontological Psychiatric Mental Health, Adult Psychiatric & Mental health, Child Adolescent Mental Health).

Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
