Stewardship Officer in our Development organization.

Reporting to our Stewardship Manager and under the Director of Donor Relations, you will support initiatives to promote renewal and increased giving of donors.

In addition to engaging with a consistent portfolio of donors, this is a fantastic opportunity to impact the success of fundraising by collaborating with leadership to provide research updates, coordination of meetings / events, naming, and more.

You will :

  • Work with leadership and officers to identify a portfolio for support
  • Collaborate with fundraisers on the development and implementation of both long and short term strategies to strengthen relationships and ensures a sustainable experience
  • Prioritize project management to execute donor engagement events both in-person and virtual
  • Participate in the development of materials needed to support fundraising efforts, elevate giving levels, and increase annual contributions
  • Work with medical colleagues to acquire research updates and scientific impact reports for donor-funded research
  • Prepare and provide donors with fund usage reports, in collaboration with Finance, Research Fund Managers, and PIs
  • Develop and maintain a stewardship pipeline and timeline for annual reporting and events
  • Coordinate project meetings for leaders, board members, staff, and attendees
  • Maintain CRM and create a quarterly update on the completion of initiatives
  • Recommend strategies to improve operational processes relevant to the team and department

  • An experienced decision-maker, with proven success at making timely decisions that keep the organization moving forward

You have :

  • 4+years of relationship and project management experience in donor relations and fundraising stewardship in a non-profit philanthropic environment
  • Excellent organizational skills and experience writing / editing communication for all levels
  • Comfortable navigating internal tools such as CRM, Jira, Confluence, Microsoft TEAMS, Adobe Creative Suite, and content design knowledge is a plus
