We are looking for a Senior Regional Sales Account Manager with exceptional leadership abilities and a demonstrated history of building and leading high-performance sales teams.
The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to develop strategies that align with business objectives, drive revenue growth, and maintain strong client relationships.
This role requires a proactive and strategic mindset, with experience in managing large sales territories and delivering consistent, measurable results.
Key Responsibilities :
Creates and Implements Effective Sales Strategies
Develop and execute sales strategies that align with corporate objectives, leveraging market insights and trends to drive revenue growth.
Regional Sales Strategy
Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue goals within the designated region. The Senior Regional Sales Account Manager will assess market conditions, identify growth opportunities, and ensure alignment with the company’s overall objectives.
Key Account Management
Manage relationships with large, high-value clients in the region. This includes understanding their needs, ensuring they are satisfied with the products or services, and identifying opportunities to upsell or cross-sell additional offerings.
Sales Team Leadership
Lead and mentor a team of Regional Account Managers or Sales Representatives. Provide coaching, set performance targets, and ensure the team is motivated and aligned with sales goals.
Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
Oversee the development and management of customer relationships. Maintain regular communication with clients, resolve any issues, and ensure a high level of client satisfaction.
Revenue Growth and Forecasting
Analyze sales data, forecast regional sales performance, and report to senior leadership on progress toward revenue goals.
Work with other departments, such as marketing and product development, to ensure a cohesive strategy.
Market Analysis
Continuously monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback within the region to adjust strategies and remain competitive.
Use this insight to refine sales tactics and drive regional success.
Contract Negotiation
Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with major clients to ensure mutually beneficial deals while maximizing revenue for the company.
Cross-Departmental Collaboration
Work closely with product, marketing, and customer support teams to align on product offerings, promotional campaigns, and customer service strategies.
Maintains Sales Volume and Product Mix
Monitor market demand, changing trends, and competitor activities to maintain sales volume, product mix, and pricing competitiveness
Prepares and Manage Sales Forecasts
Develop and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts, adjusting strategies as needed to meet or exceed targets.
Qualifications and Skills :
- Bachelor’s degree required in Business, Marketing, Agriculture, or related undergraduate degree.
- Fluent in English and Spanish (preferred).
- 7+ years of advancing sales and business development experience and / or experience in a customer-facing role (produce industry preferred).
- Extensive work with Microsoft Office strong Excel skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills along with strong presentation and negotiation skills.
- Proven analytic skills : conceptualizing, analyzing, deriving insights from data, and designing an execution plan to achieve success on our platform.
- Ability to manage complex requirements and conflicting priorities.
- Flexible approach and an ability to operate effectively with uncertainty and under pressure.
- Driven, self-motivated and enthusiastic, with a can-do’ attitude.
- Ability to travel 50% of the time throughout Mexico and the United States (as required.
- Must reside in the Metro Houston, TX area.
- Highly motivated to tackle complicated and impactful business problems and build best-in-class products and sales programs.
- Adept problem-solving and communication skills. You’re a master salesperson and strategic thinker who comes armed to internal and external conversations with the right data and analysis to make a convincing argument.
- Entrepreneur and humble mindset. You roll up your sleeves to get deals over the finish line.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor and motivate a sales team.
- Expertise in negotiating deals with large clients and handling complex contracts.
- Solid history of growing relationships with key clients.
- Proficiency in analyzing sales data, forecasting, and using CRM tools to track progress and make strategic decisions.
- A deep understanding of the industry and market conditions within the region is often required to succeed in this role.

Frequently uses computer, telephone, and writing instruments. Standing often while performing presentations. Time is spent in a refrigerated area standing and walking.
Temperature in refrigerated area averages 41F. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and vehicles.
The noise level in the operation facility is high. The noise level in the office environment is usually quiet to moderate.
