Job Overview : A prestigious law firm is seeking a Mid-Level Commercial Litigation Associate for its Research Triangle Park office.
The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience handling general commercial litigation cases in both state and federal courts in North Carolina.

The role involves working on complex litigation matters with a focus on research, drafting, and discovery management.
Duties :
- Handle a variety of commercial litigation cases from inception to resolution
- Conduct legal research and draft substantive pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
- Manage and oversee all aspects of the discovery process, including e-discovery
- Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and achieve favorable outcomes
- Conduct depositions, interviews, and represent clients in court hearings
- Communicate regularly with clients to keep them informed of case developments
- Stay informed on legal trends and best practices in commercial litigation
Requirements :
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to the North Carolina State Bar or eligibility to obtain admission
- 2-5 years of commercial litigation experience, with substantial experience in state and federal courts
- Strong legal research, writing, and drafting skills
- Ability to manage cases independently and work collaboratively within a team
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
Education :
Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school
Certifications :
Active or eligible North Carolina Bar membership
Skills :
- Proficiency in legal research and drafting
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Experience in managing e-discovery and conducting depositions
- Strong communication and negotiation abilities
