Tutors provide support for students writing in courses from across the curriculum.
Concurrent paid training provided and required for this position.
Position provides opportunities for conference participation, committee work, editing, group leadership, and publication experience.
Required Qualifications Must be a WSU graduate student in good academic standing.
We hire successful students from all majors.
Demonstrated writing proficiency through coursework and by submitting an academic writing sample at the time of interview.
Interpersonal communication skills are important.
Interest in learning to explain key writing concepts : audience, purpose, organization, development, structure.
Part of the funding for this role is based in a Work Study allotment, and this means that we need to make certain that each candidate qualifies for that funding before we move forward with the hiring process.
Grad students often do not apply for FAFSA because they do not want loans. To get this funding, though, you must do the following :
