Job Description :

Accenture Federal Services is looking for a Full Stack Data Scientist / Software Engineer to analyze, design, code and test multiple components of application and software code across one or more clients.

The Full Stack Data Scientist / Software Engineer will perform analysis, maintenance, enhancements and / or development work.

The Work :

• Perform manual and automated processes for cleaning, exploration and movement of structured and unstructured data using approved methods.
• Execute data ingestion activities for storing data in a local or enterprise level location.
• Analyze source data formats and work with other Data Scientists to design and develop the formats, systems and ETL that best meet mission objectives.
• Develop analytic solutions to answer questions or extract information from data sources.
• Build algorithms to transform or fuse existing data sources for new analysis.
• Develop code and tools to provide one-time or on-going ETL with enterprise or standalone data models.
• Implement existing ETL code and best practices / standards.
• Develop and deliver documentation such as code use guide.
• Provide consulting services to ETL design.
• Architect, Create and Orchestrate deployments using Docker containers and Kubernetes.
• Deploy applications using CI / CD tools (Argo CD).
• Ensure secure builds using DevSecOps scanning tools.

Here's what you need :

• 3+ years of experience with Python.
• 3+ years of experience with Software Development.
• 1+ years experience with Git, Database Systems (SQL, NOSQL), usage and development of APIs.
• 1+ years experience with Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) tools and processes.
• 1+ years experience with Argo CD, Docker, Kubernetes, NIFI, Cloud Systems (Azure / AWS).
• Bachelor’s degree.
• 1+ years experience with python libraries for visualization (i.e. Leaflet / Folium, Plotly, matplotlib, etc), SQLAlchemy, FastAPI, Pydantic and testing (pytest, etc).

Bonus points if you have :

Master’s Degree.

IC Experience.

• Specific experience with PostgreSQL and Optimization of deployment and queries.
• Software Engineering Background.
• Familiarity with Software Infrastructure and Networking.
• Ability to optimize performance of code, algorithms, datasets and models.
• Function independently and can present / defend / communicate the results and ideas to key decision makers.

As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, New York, Washington, and the District of Columbia .

The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set and level of experience.

$83,900 $170,200 USD.
