Quality Technician

The Quality Technician works directly with the Quality Manager maintaining and adhering to the Quality Management System.

Essential Functions

• Performs regular audits of processes and product inspections on shopfloor
• Identifies and resolves product defects and non-conformities in production quickly
• Creates and resolves internal NCP's where applicable
• Participates with all functions to drive Continuous Improvement efforts on shopfloor
• Participates in root cause identification and corrective action for rework
• Supports Internal PPM reduction efforts with all functions
• Supports efforts to resolve past run nonconformances prior to start of new production runs
• Assist with internal ISO : 9001 audits
• Assist with incoming inspection and RMA receiving
• Assist in training, as needed
• Assist in routine calibration efforts

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to working near moving mechanical parts and caustic fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.
