Childcare Substitutes

Shenandoah University is seeking applicants for Substitute positions at our Child Care Department location in Winchester, Virginia.

Positions available for substitute teachers who can work flexible hours during the week and on an as needed basis.

Child Care Substitutes assist teachers and their assistants in all aspects of their classroom and with the children.

Required Skills

Requirements :

• Previous experience working with infants / children
• Must be age 18 years of age
• Dependable to work as scheduled a must
• Committed to the well-being and security of infants / children required

Position requires ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and ability to meet physical requirements essential to the job functions as outlined in the job description.

Note : A pre-employment background check and urine drug screen will be required as a condition of hire.
