Reports to : Warehouse Manager

Location : Onsite, Hillsboro

Job Summary :

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Driver and Kitter to join our warehouse team. In this dual role, you will be responsible for transporting parts between our facilities while also assisting with the kitting of parts and managing related transactions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent organizational skills, and familiarity with ERP systems.

Job Responsibilities :

  • Safely transport parts and materials between designated facilities according to scheduled routes.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Maintain accurate delivery logs and records of parts transported.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies during transit.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise.

Kitting Duties :

  • Assist in the kitting process by gathering and organizing parts and materials for production orders.
  • Verify the accuracy of parts against kitting lists and ensure all necessary items are included.
  • Prepare kitted items for shipment or production line use, ensuring proper labeling and packaging.
  • Collaborate with the inventory management team to maintain accurate inventory levels and assist with transactions using ERP systems.
  • Participate in periodic inventory counts and help identify discrepancies.

Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant experience in a warehouse or logistics environment preferred.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and basic computer skills for transaction recording and inventory management.
  • Ability to operate a forklift or willingness to obtain certification.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to insert weight, e.g., 50 lbs.)
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
