Buyer/Planner I

Position Summary

The Buyer / Planner will be responsible for analyzing material requirements to support Customer on-time delivery and optimal inventory levels.

The Buyer / Planner will be responsible for dating the order, purchasing (Direct, STO, MRO, and Outside Processing), and managing inventory levels to ensure that appropriate amounts of materials are planned to meet customer and business requirements.

The person in this position will interface directly with Customer Care, Engineering, Production Management, Receiving, Shipping, Regal Rexnord central service functions and suppliers.

Responsibilities :

• Develop final production plan to meet customer delivery requirements
• Actively work with internal and external suppliers to prioritize materials ensuring on-time delivery
• Manage inventory levels, storage and records accuracy
• Interface daily with Regal Rexnord Customer Care team to resolve Customer cases
• Lead and actively participate in continuous improvement efforts utilizing RRBS (Regal Rexnord Business System) tools
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor / manager

Qualifications :

Experience and Skill Required

• Previous experience working in an industrial manufacturing environment
• Demonstrated MRP experience using an integrated ERP system
• Strong understanding and working knowledge of MRP and ERP terminology, processes, and logic
• Strong attention to detail, analytical and problem solving skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and Outlook
• HS Diploma or equivalent, Associate Degree preferred
• 3 - 5 years experience

Pay transparency : $45,000- $65,000 annual salary
