HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT :

• Leadership & Strategy : Lead and mentor a high-performing engineering team, fostering innovation and collaboration. Develop and execute the engineering strategy in alignment with business objectives.
• Product Development : Oversee the entire product development cycle, ensuring products meet or exceed customer requirements for performance, safety, and reliability.
• Technology Innovation : Drive R&D initiatives and stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to maintain the company's competitive edge.
• Operational Excellence : Implement KPIs and metrics to monitor performance and ensure continuous improvement in all engineering processes.
• Stakeholder Engagement : Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to align technical specifications with market needs and ensure compliance.
• Risk Management : Identify and mitigate risks related to product design and deployment.
• Budget & Resource Management : Manage the engineering budget and resource allocation to maximize productivity and project outcomes.

ARE YOU A VICE PRESIDENT OF ENGINEERING ROCK STAR?

• Experience : At least 15 years in technology roles, with 10 years in leadership, preferably in high-growth companies within the payment processing industry.
• Leadership : Proven ability to manage large teams (40+) and deliver technical and process transformations, such as cloud migration and DevOps adoption.
• Technical Expertise :
• Experience with SaaS-based products, ensuring high uptime and reliability.
• Expertise in cloud-based application development, especially with AWS, DevOps, and microservices.
• Proven track record of managing CI / CD processes in an Agile development environment.
• Experience managing on-site, off-site, and offshore teams.
• Operational Excellence : Strong focus on KPI and metrics to ensure continuous delivery and improvement.
• Problem-Solving : Strong analytical skills with the ability to tackle complex technical challenges and deliver innovative solutions.
• Strategic Thinking : Ability to develop and implement long-term strategies that align with business objectives and drive technological advancements.
