Responsibilities
Stamford Hospital is seeking a Full Time Psychiatric Tech to work in our 20-bed Psychiatric unit.
Psych Tech will provide a safe and supportive environment and implement the patient's care plan to achieve their therapeutic goals.
Responsibilities include Activities of Daily Living (ADL) assistance, de-escalation, and patient rounds. This position may float to our pediatric psych unit.
Schedule : Day shift, 7 : 00am-8 : 00pm, 3 shifts per week, rotating weekends and holidays
Some portions of daily assignments involve prolonged standing, transporting material, equipment, patients, or lifting, moving, or carrying heavy (over 30 pounds) for intermittent periods throughout the day.
Qualifications
Required Skills :
Associate degree in related field or at least one year of work experience in a related job
BLS Certification required.
CPI Certification required.
