Job Title : General Production Operator (Processing)

Job Description

Candidates considered for the packager role will be responsible for visually inspecting various sizes of pasta noodles in a food manufacturing setting.

They will stand on their feet for 8-10 hours a day, sift through noodles for product that doesn't meet standards, and remove the product by hand.

Candidates will also be responsible for packaging finished goods into boxes. Finished goods can weigh anywhere from 8 lbs.

to 35 lbs. High attention to detail and common sense are two of the soft skills candidates need to have for this role. Someone with previous food machine operating or QA experience would be great but not required.

Just need to be able to read manuals, enter data into a spreadsheet, and be detail-oriented.

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 3 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Tacoma, Washington.

Work Environment

The facility is normally on the warm side due to large ovens that bake the wet noodles. The facility is also very loud due to the nature of the machines.

Candidates will be on their feet for 8-10 hours a day and can expect to lift upwards of 35 lbs. when needed. Located in Frederickson, there are no bus routes that run to this area.

Shift : Day Shift 6am - 6pm Monday - Friday (get a day off Tuesday-Thursday). Occasionally will switch shifts up to cover a weekend or require overtime when production demands are higher.

Candidates should not expect to work excessive overtime in this role (2-5 hours / week).
